Variables breakdown:

  • url: the url of your site (yoursite.com)
    • Required.
    • Maximum length is 255 characters.
    • The URL should be unique without session or user-specific data.
    • Must be URL encoded.
  • type: The content type that you're submitting.
    • Optional.
    • Choices are: news, photos, videos, audio (note the plural forms).
    • Will autoselect type for certain sites. Let us know if you want us to add your site to the autoselect list.
    • Defaults to news.
  • title: the title of your submission
    • Optional.
    • Maximum length is 255 characters.
    • Must be URL encoded.
  • desc: the description of your submission
    • Optional.
    • Maximum length is 500 characters.
    • Must be URL encoded.
  • category: what category does your submission belong to
    • Optional.
    • Defaults to entertainment.
    • Can only choose one.
    • Available categories are: entertainment, technology, sports, people, business, politics, culture, science, fashion, beauty, health, travel, education, offbeat
  • tags: tags related to your submission

    • Try for at least three.
