Phil (PLam) has been telling us about the problems with the forums here and I apologize for not getting to them quickly.

NobodyOpen started around May of this year as a trial to see what kind of response we can get from football fans. Now, seven months later, we see that the response was not quite what we hoped for or need to keep this site running. So our current options include shutting down NobodyOpen or leaving it up unsupported. I understand that a handful of you have found a home here and hopefully you can understand why our websites need to at least pay for themselves in terms of server cost and staff salaries.

As of today, we will no longer support NobodyOpen, meaning we will not add new features or fix bugs that are not high priorities. We have not decided if we are going to shut down NobodyOpen permanently, however, even if we do all your forum topics and replies will be archived so they won’t be lost forever.

I think we will likely try a different concept in developing a football community in the future though we have no timetable of when that will be.
