My take on the first half…

Man, the play calling, execution, dropped passes missed tackles, playing leap frog, etc.

I watched the first half and was so p***ed off, couldn’t watch the second half.

Opening drive, second and 5, on their 32 and we call a reverse? Then 4th down dying quail pass to Hixon?

3rd series: We have second and one, and we try two SWEEPS AND FAIL TO GET THE FIRST DOWN?

Ross loses his man for a 32 yard gain, which leads to a fg.

Hixon drops a possible td, or the very least, a long gain.

Fg blocked by a leap frog play?

3rd and 5, Hixon does a slant downfield, and a Philly linebacker blocks him 10 yrds DOWNFIELD AND NO FLAG IS CALLED?

Phillips misses a 3rd down tackle, which leads to a first down, and keeps alive a td drive.

Pierce goes the wrong way, and Westbrook scores on a long td run.

Giants come back and are driving. Go for it on 4th, and Smith drops the ball.

If we don’t run back the blocked fg attempt, it could have been 13-0, instead of 10-7 at the half.

Maybe my stomach will be better tomorrow, and I’ll watch the second half.

Giants want Carolina to win. It gives them a better chance at being #1 seed. Plus it forces the Eagles and the Cowboys to fight it out for the WildCard.

Defense

If I said to you after the SB, the Giant defense would lose Strahan, Osi, Mitchell, Torbor, Madison, and Wilson, what kind of season would they have the next year? Certainly not 11-1!

The system Spag’s has implemented, and the moves by Reese, have more than offset these Problems.

Man, this has been a fun season to watch. Last year nothing was expected. This year, as defending champs, they remain under the radar, and despite the Plax distractions, continue to take care of business.
